New to Val-Morin with his wife, Annie Gauthier, Phil Shaw has been a dedicated athlete for over 35+ years.

Phil started cross-country skiing in 1970 and is still going strong. From 19 to 26 years of age, he was part of the Fondeurs Laurentides cross country race team. His passion hasn't diminished with time and he has become a professional cross country ski racer. For 35 years now, he has been representing Canada as an elite skier at Worldloppet races. During winter of 2022, Phil will cross country ski race in numerous international Worldloppet races. In 1995, he crossed Canada on inline skates in 72 days, a feat that earned him an entry in the Guinness Book of Records. Today he happily shares his passion for rollerskiing and cross country skiing with Annie, a ballet teacher, who loves to keep in shape with the rollerski and cross country ski training lifestyle!
